Eight athletes from Vortex Taekwondo attended the 2023 Canadian National Championships bringing home seven medals. Leading the Medal count was one of our senior instructors Master Shane Britton, winning Gold in the -63Kg category, earning a spot on National Team. Sofie Nicholson also won gold in the women’s -73kg category and a spot on Senior National Team. Lucas Badalucco, Thomas Mencl and Josipa Kafadar all won silver. While Rowan Dhillon and Alexia Malang both won Bronze. Ethan Jenkins unfortunately lost a close match with the eventual Gold medalist finishing Top 8..
